Your Help is Needed! The School of Ballet Arizona works with you, our Parent Partnership, to establish and maintain a network of supporters and volunteers dedicated to serving the needs of SBAZ. Our goals for each school year included both fundraising and volunteer recruitment. Please visit the information board in the lobby for a comprehensive list of the year's volunteer opportunities. If you would like to be considered for any of the listed activities, sign up on the board or contact the School Registrar at 602-381-0188 or school@balletaz.org.
1. Ballet Arizona Performances: Nutcracker Audition Volunteers A group of parent volunteers will be needed on September 12th from approximately 7:45am-3:30pm to help Ballet Arizona with the Nutcracker Auditions. A meeting for parent volunteers directed by Michael Panvini and Laura Claus from Ballet Arizona will be held on Friday, September 10 from 4-5pm to discuss what will happen on the audition day. 2. School of Ballet Arizona Performances: Backstage Volunteers
The job of a Backstage Parent Volunteer is crucial to the success of our performances. Once selected to be a backstage parent volunteer, we ask that you commit to be at all the rehearsals and performances and to carry out responsibilities such as: *arriving to rehearsals and performances 20 to 30 minutes before the scheduled sign in time for your child's level *keeping all the students quiet and focused on the job of dancing during rehearsals and performances *helping them to get dressed in the costumes making sure they safely get on and off the stage
Upcoming SBAZ Backstage Volunteer Opportunities include Winter Fairy Tales, The Nutcracker Party, and Spring Performance 2011.
