Fabio Toblini
Costume Designer


Fabio Toblini’s portfolio (viewable at fabiotoblini.com) is as varied as it is stunning, including designs for the national tours of Fame and Godspell, and world premieres of The Ministry of Progress, Batboy the Musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and The Game. Operas he has designed include Macbeth, L’Opera Seria, Béatrice et Bénédict, Lucrezia Borgia, The Magic Flute, Dido and Æneas, and La Cenerentola. For the stage he created for The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Much Ado About Nothing, A Christmas Carol, Twelfth Night, and Sherlock Holmes. His clientele includes Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, Jane Street Theatre, Barrington Stage, Goodspeed Musicals, Portland Opera, Nationale Reisopera (Netherlands), Manhattan School of Music, Gotham Chamber Opera, EOS Orchestra NYC, The Caramoor Centre for the Arts, The Juilliard School, The Old Globe Theatre (San Diego), Alley Theatre (Houston), Ford’s Theatre and The Shakespeare Theatre (Washington DC), The Children’s Theatre Company and The Guthrie Theater (Minneapolis), Manhattan Class Company, and Long Wharf Theatre (New Haven). Mr. Toblini trained at Milan’s Istituto Marangoni, Emerson College in Sussex, and Parson’s School of Design in New York.
